VetChip is a smart animal health monitor designed to enable animals to live healthier, happier and longer lives. It performs all the functions of a standard animal ‘identity microchip’ plus so much more

Our Product

VetChip is a world-first monitoring technology that will provide pet parents and vets with an unprecedented ability to monitor their pet’s health and happiness.

Our devices are a state-of-the-art upgrade to the common identity chip that is implanted in millions of animals around the world.

VetChip is a unique biosensor placed under the skin that provides animal health information similar top a FitBit or other wearable ‘human’ health monitors. Owners and vets can access real-time health analytics and alerts via the VetChip app.

Why We Do What We Do

We are a team of experienced vets and engineers that share a vision of a healthier, happier world where the health of all pets is enhanced by our technology.

We are inspired to create technology that will change the future of animal health. Our technology will enable better vet care, better welfare, better preventative care, better nutrition, improved performance, lower vet bills, improved disease detection, accurate population monitoring and more. Not only is this better for them, it’s also better for us.

How We Are Going to Change the Industry

Our technology enables vets and animal owners to know whether their pet is happy and healthy. Traditionally, an appointment with a vet is required to assess an animal's health. VetChip makes it faster, easier and more efficient to maintain optimal animal health with real-time access to this information.

We also offer a modernised form of permanent ID and can link into developing pet tech ecosystems.

VetChip will offer pet parents and vets the ability to intervene at the first signs of stress, illness and/or disease. With early detection, VetChip can reduce and / or prevent more serious health complications conditions from ever presenting themselves. This saves both animal and owner from unnecessary pain, distress and suffering while also enabling vets to work in a more efficient and productive manner.
