We unlock the power of gut microbiome to enhance the benefit of personalised nutrition in the management of pet’s health and provide specialist veterinary support for the management of a variety of pet’s disorders.

Why We Do What We Do

We want to contribute to translate the science behind the gut microbiome so to promote its integration in the daily clinical veterinary practice. Veterinary doctors need an easy to understand gut microbiome report to support them in the management of pet’s conditions also through a therapeutic nutrition. Furthermore the gut microbiome analysis is expensive and not widely available.

Finally, specialist veterinary doctors are a great asset in the management of specific pet’s conditions, however due to their shortage and uneven geographical distribution across Countries, access to a specialist opinion may be difficult for all pet parents and veterinary doctors. We believe that the integration of gut microbiome in the routine and the access to specialist veterinary opinions will have a positive impact on pet’s health.

How We Are Going to Change the Industry

We are building a telemedicine portal where both pet parents and veterinary doctors can access an affordable, reliable and personalised gut microbiome analysis and nutrition and find specialist veterinary doctors with expertise in the different areas of veterinary medicine. LampoVet is developing a software for the analysis of the gut microbiome aimed at producing an easy to understand report for doctors and personalised nutrition advices. Furthermore, LampoVet is creating a vet area where veterinary doctors can find relevant information on gut microbiome, clinical cases and most recent research on gut microbiome so to provide practical examples of the usefulness of gut microbiome and nutrition in the clinical practice. Increasing awareness on the role of gut microbiome and the role of specialist veterinary doctors as the nutritionist, will allow pet parents to make an educated choice when it comes to their pets health.
